BoricuActivatEd is proud to announce that it has received a generous grant from the Philadelphia Foundation, a group that has fostered the economic, civic and social vitality of Greater Philadelphia for more than a century. This new funding will enable BoricuActivatEd to expand its civic engagement curriculum in the city of Philadelphia. People of all ages will benefit from this funding, helping them learn how to raise their voices, stand up for their issues, and improve their community and country.
“We are extremely proud of this support and to be affiliated with an outstanding organization whose values so closely align with ours,” said BoricuActivatEd founder Jennice Fuentes. “We have long believed that it’s never too early or too late to give people the tools to become active, engaged citizens, and we are excited that the Philadelphia Foundation is helping us make that ideal a reality.”
